Editorial policy and corrections
This policy explains how FixAEO researches and maintains editorial content, especially comparisons, AI-search studies, and pages that mention FixAEO itself.
Authorship and responsibility
Every article names the person responsible for its claims. The author is accountable for source selection, interpretation, disclosure, and corrections. Contributor or independent-review credit appears only when that person actually participated.
Source hierarchy
We prefer official documentation, company filings, regulators, court records, original research, and first-party product or pricing pages. Secondary reporting is used when the primary record is unavailable or needs context, and estimates are labeled as estimates.
Fact-checking
Before publication or a material refresh, we check numerical consistency, source dates, link destinations, product availability, pricing caveats, screenshots, metadata, structured data, and whether the headline matches the article. A visible fact-check note identifies the scope and date of the check.
Commercial interests and affiliate links
FixAEO is a commercial product. Any article that evaluates or recommends FixAEO must disclose that relationship near the relevant comparison. Sponsored placements, free access, affiliate links, or other material connections must be disclosed clearly. We do not label an ordinary link as affiliate when no commission or consideration exists.
Updates and corrections
Material changes receive a visible last-reviewed date and revision note. We correct factual errors in the article rather than silently preserving them. Pricing, policies, product availability, legal proceedings, and AI-citation measurements are reviewed more often because they change quickly.
AI-assisted work
Automation may assist with research organization, link checking, comparison tables, and editing. It does not replace author responsibility. Claims must remain traceable to the cited evidence, and generated examples must be labeled or removed when they could be mistaken for observed results.

Send the page URL, the statement you believe is wrong, and a supporting source to hello@fixaeo.com. We review the evidence, update material errors, and record the change on the affected page.
