Terms of Service

1. Who we are & acceptance

FixAEO (the Service, at fixaeo.com and api.fixaeo.com) is operated by an individual sole proprietor based in India (the “Operator”, “we”, “us”); see our Imprint. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. The Service

FixAEO inspects public websites and queries third-party AI engines to estimate how those engines perceive a brand, and provides related tracking and recommendations. Results are heuristic and informational. FixAEO is not affiliated with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, DeepSeek, or any other AI provider mentioned in our reports.

3. Accounts

  • You must be at least 16 and able to form a binding contract.
  • Provide accurate information and keep your sign-in secure; you're responsible for activity under your account.
  • One person or organization per account unless we agree otherwise in writing.

4. Acceptable use

  • Only submit URLs for sites you own, have permission to test, or are evaluating competitively as publicly accessible commercial sites.
  • Don't scan sites you've been asked not to, or use the Service for unlawful purposes.
  • Don't attempt to overwhelm, reverse-engineer, or circumvent limits of the Service. We rate-limit and may block abusive traffic.
  • Don't resell raw scan output as your own product without a written agreement.

5. Subscriptions, billing & Merchant of Record

Paid plans are sold through Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. That means Lemon Squeezy is the seller of record for your purchase and handles payment processing, sales tax/VAT, and invoicing. Your purchase is also subject to Lemon Squeezy's terms and privacy policy.

  • Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) at the then-current price, until you cancel. By subscribing you authorize recurring charges via the Merchant of Record.
  • Price changes. We may change prices; changes apply to the next renewal after reasonable notice.
  • Taxes. Prices may be shown exclusive or inclusive of tax depending on your location; the Merchant of Record applies any required VAT/sales tax at checkout and issues your invoice.

6. Free trial

If a plan offers a free trial, we (or the Merchant of Record) will tell you its length and terms at checkout. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription converts to paid and the first charge is taken automatically. Only one trial per customer.

7. Cancellation & refunds

  • Cancel any timefrom Settings → Plan & billing (or via the Lemon Squeezy customer portal). Cancellation stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
  • Refundsare handled by the Merchant of Record under its refund policy. We don't generally refund partial periods, except where required by law.
  • EU/UK withdrawal right. Consumers in the EU/UK have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. By starting to use a digital subscription during that period you may be asked to acknowledge that the withdrawal right ends once the service has been fully provided. Nothing here removes your mandatory statutory rights.

8. Free tier & fair use

Free features (e.g. a daily demo scan, public tools, the leaderboard) are provided as-is and may be rate-limited, changed, or discontinued. Don't abuse them (e.g. automated mass requests).

9. Your data

You retain rights to the brands, prompts, and other content you add. You grant us the limited license needed to operate the Service for you (e.g. running scans, querying AI providers, generating reports). How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. Where we process data on your behalf (e.g. the analytics tag on your site), our Data Processing Addendum applies.

10. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and content we create, belongs to the Operator. These Terms don't grant you any right to our trademarks or to copy or resell the Service.

11. No warranty

The Service and scan results are provided as-is and as-available. AI engines are non-deterministic and their responses vary between calls. We don't guarantee any specific ranking, Visibility Score, uptime, or that following our recommendations will improve a brand's actual AI-search visibility. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us (via the Merchant of Record) for the Service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your mandatory consumer rights.

13. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (Settings → Privacy & data). We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service unlawfully. You can export your data before deleting your account; see the Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date tracks the latest revision, and we'll flag material changes in-app or by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over disputes, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of any mandatory laws of your country of residence, and may have the right to bring proceedings there. Purchases are also subject to the Merchant of Record's terms.
